We are a collaborative garden design studio working across a wide range of projects, from compact urban spaces to expansive rural landscapes, creating gardens that feel deeply personal, imaginative, and grounded in their surroundings.

The garden design process is a wholly collaborative activity. Our first job is to listen to what you want and need from your garden, and also to understand the unique way that you use and live in this space
The design will respond to a unique combination of the brief, the setting and the architecture of the building, to produce something that is right for you.
We believe that a design can be environmentally responsible, increase biodiversity and still be a functional, liveable space that meets the clients daily needs
We offer a comprehensive design service, from concept design right up to construction oversight, helping you realise your dream garden with ease and peace of mind
Smaller gardens (urban courtyards, terrace gardens): 6-9 months.
Medium gardens (suburban gardens, larger family spaces): 9-12 months.
Large gardens (estate gardens, complex landscapes): 12-18 months
The design and delivery process takes your ideas from initial concept through to a fully realised garden. From thoughtful planning and detailed design to on-site support, each stage ensures the finished space is cohesive, practical and built to last.
Following our discussions and site survey, a concept design is produced, supported by mood boards. At this stage the focus is on overall layout and feel, rather than detailed decisions, and the design is refined based on your feedback.
Once agreed, the concept is developed into a masterplan showing materials, spatial arrangement and a proposed planting character, supported by further imagery to convey the sense of space.
After masterplan approval, technical drawings are prepared, including construction details, lighting, setting-out plans and a detailed planting plan to allow accurate costing and ordering.
The completed package can then be issued for contractor tender. We can recommend contractors if helpful and provide site visits during construction, as well as support with setting out planting once the build is complete.
